1. Data Collection
We collect minimal data necessary for app functionality. This includes your email address (for account authentication), internal user IDs, and session timestamps to verify leaderboard integrity. We do not use these identifiers for marketing or tracking purposes.
2. Health & Digital Wellbeing Data
To support the app's core focus of digital wellbeing, we track your in-app activity, specifically the duration of your screen-free sessions. Under app store policies, this digital wellbeing tracking is classified as Health Data. This data is used solely for core app functionality (personal progression and leaderboards) and is never used to infer medical conditions, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
3. What Other Users Can See
If you create an account, the following is public to anyone using the app, including people who aren't signed in:
- Your username, join date, and VIP badge (if applicable)
- Your title, global ranking, total sessions, total untethered time, and best session
- Your Syndicate name and membership
- Your activity status: whether you're currently in a session (Untethered), in the app (Online), or away (Offline), based on when the app last checked in
Your email address and individual session history are never shown to other users. Off-grid sessions and sessions completed while signed out stay on your device and are not shared.
To remove your public profile, delete your account from the Profile screen in the app. This permanently removes your profile, stats, and cloud history.
4. Local Storage
Session history and settings are stored locally on your device. Clearing your app cache may reset your personal bests if they have not been synced to the server.
5. Infrastructure & Security
We utilise Supabase for secure cloud storage and authentication services.
Your account security is a priority. All passwords are encrypted using bcrypt hashing before being stored. We never see, store, or transmit your password in plain text.
